My Thinking of Social Media

 Although mass mailing can be called as Social Media at some point, I do not regard it as Social Media in general as it does not have the timeliness and universality.

Readers may ask: Weibo do not have the timeliness,too.Why not Excludes them?

My answer is,we often refresh Weibo again & again.On other hands, few refresh the mailbox in the same frequency,but check them in the set time.So mass mailing do not have the property.

Well,how about blogs?

Sometimes, it can be called as 'network',but in more situations,well,it doubts.

The reason is simple,because most blogs are Point-to-Plane.Most of the communications are between the author and the readers,they seldom happens between a reader and another reader.We can regard it as a 'Social Tree' since a tree has many branches but only a trunk,though the branches may touch each other after a long time.

A typical example of social network I think is weibo,which is alike twitter. We comment, forward,and Printscreen to share it with each other. We can get friends' states immediately.
